After months of researching moments of stress that my partner experiences day-to-day due to her suffering from bipolar disorder and anxiety. It was discovered that the usual meditation apps weren’t really useful because she didn’t really have the time in her busy schedule and she couldn’t really afford to pay someone to teach her meditation techniques. I realized that there was a gap in the industry for an app that helps users meditate and reflect without having to take a long period out of their busy schedules or paying for expensive therapies or mindfulness classes. Guiding users through meditation or therapy, using a more natural guided approach is what makes this app different. Namastay uses micro-interactions to stimulate users’ senses and guide people towards feeling better about the nuances of life.
